Leda Savagedawn

Name: Leda Savagedawn
Age: 28 years
Class: Feral Druid
Race: Tauren
Professions: Leatherworking, Skinning, First Aid
Languages Known: Taurahe, Orcish (Note: Leda is illiterate)
Rank: General

Appearance:

Leda is nearly as tall as her twin, at 6’2”, but her fur is a cream colour with copper-y brown spots. In town, she can be spotted in her leather armour and it’s rare that she changes out of it. Having made it herself, the leather doesn’t match and is a hodge-podge of different animals, colours and textures. The stitches are huge and it is obvious it was not made to look good. Her staff is wooden, carved to look like Anzu, the bird god of Skettis legend. In battle she takes the form of a fierce horned bear and it is the only form she knows. The transformation is often very painful.

Personality:

General Savagedawn is very gruff, practical and stern. She doesn’t have the time for frivolous things like multiple outfits, grooming or learning to read. Leda is the official leader of the 43rd, but usually leadership is shared by a rotating bunch of people. She puts her brother above everyone else and has sworn a personal goal to protect him as he continues on his never-ending quest for knowledge.

History:

Leda grew up with her twin brother, Iyotanka, in Camp Mojache, Feralas. She spent the majority of her time outside with her father, learning to skin and trap the animals in the area. After the ogre attack, she was sent with Iyo to live with the druid elder. However, unlike Iyo, Leda refused to buy into any of the druidic teachings of their foster mother. She deliberately and stubbornly fought against them. When it came time for the twins to go through a druidic coming-of-age ceremony, Leda refused and for her disrespect was banished by the Council of Elders. When she left the village, Iyo followed with her and the two struggled to make money for his continued education. She joined Rend Fate and along with her brother and General Asterius, successfully defended Stormwind from the Syreen. She left their ranks to form the 43rd Division of Thrall’s Army, along with Doogie and Clothilde.
