The first thing anyone notices about Ren is her height. For a Blood Elf, Ren is considered impossibly tall and clocks in at an impressive 6’1”. While in town, Rene sports casual slacks and light, cotton tops, her hair pulled up and out of her face. She has an easy smile and a loud laugh, which any of the 43rd could recognize from across Dalaran. In battle, Ren’s mail armour is worn underneath her casual attire, in addition to leather greaves and bracers. She carries a lightweight, ornately carved bow with a variety of arrows in her quiver and several different traps dangling off her leather belt. Brock, her gorilla, fights under her command, often acting as Seishougen’s personal bodyguard when the mage gets a little carried away.
Personality:
Ren is very easy going and has an excellent sense of humour. She enjoys fishing and, for an elf, is bizarrely attracted to the outdoors and being covered in dirt. For her height (or perhaps because of it) she is incredibly clumsy, often tripping over shields, bags, boxes, her gorilla… you name it. While in battle, she is incredibly focused and her accuracy is deadly. While in town, she is usually goofing off with any of her squad-mates or even complete strangers. Ren is definitely the party girl of the platoon and can be seen toting around gallon jugs of Dalaran Red to the bank.
History:
As a high elf, Rene enjoyed a relatively calm, regular childhood. She grew up in the Ghostlands, but far from Tranquillien, on the coast in a remote fishing community. Her love for fishing could easily be attributed to precious memories of a happy, easy childhood. The Windrunner sisters lived nearby as well and were often seen by a young Rene in her little town. To this day, Ren idolizes Sylvanus Windrunner, despite her unfortunate transformation. She easily survived the invasion of the Scourge, along with her large family and joined the Sin’dorei forces in hopes of fighting alongside her idol. She met her pet gorilla, Brock, 4 months later in Stranglethorn Vale, saving him from becoming the soup course at a Zul'Gurub meet 'n greet.
